It is our pleasure to inform you that the Resuscitation Council of Serbia and Montenegro has been formed. The council has been registered in 2004., in accordance with positive regulations (article 13. of the regulation concerning citizens' unions, public organisations and political organisations founded on the territory of Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia - Sluzbeni list SFRJ No, 42/90) published by the Ministry of Serbia and Montenegro and registered in the Department for Human and Minority Rights, as a non-profitable, non-governmental nonpartisan organisation – Citizens' Union.

Resuscitation Council of Serbia and Montenegro has realised a fruitful cooperation with councils of the neighbouring countries, members of the EC, as well as with ERC (European Resuscitation Council).

Resuscitation Council of Serbia and Montenegro (SCGRC) is a Citizens’ Union which is in its character a non-governmental, non-partisan, and non-profitable multidisciplinary organisation.

It unites and supports the enterprises of all organisations, associations, unions and individuals who execute practical, educational work and scientific research, primarily in the field of resuscitacion, reanimation, critical periods of pre- and intrahospital resuscitacion and reanimation. It strives for the unification of multidisciplinary areas, which will, through team work realisation upon unexpected circulation halt, along with prevention procedure, help prevent the loss of the patient, with which we strive to achieve safety for each individual in the society, created by the knowledge and intent of the resuscitator and reanimator achieved by continual research, improvement and education.

Neither resuscitation nor reanimation are heroic acts, but tools given to us by modern medicine to use wisely, and apply as common wealth for each individual.

It is our opinion that every single link in this chain is equally important and crucial. We can achieve our common goal exclusively as a team, in which every link is equaly strong.
